Zendaya’s Personal Style 2024 (An Overview)
It-girl and actress, Zendaya, is back in a new movie called the Challengers. As always, her red carpet and press looks have caught the public’s attention due to her method dressing with many tennis-inspired outfits and her ability to serve a look at all times! All her looks are done in collaboration with her longtime stylist and fashion icon, Law Roach.
Zendaya has been one of my favorite celebrities for a long time! She seems so down-to-earth, humble, and a FASHION STAR (which is very important to me lol)! Her red carpet and press looks are daring, high-fashion, and incredibly stylish. Anytime I hear that she is going to be at an event, I wait excitedly for the pictures to see what she is wearing. She is truly a superstar inside and out!
As I always say, when I am a fan of someone, I am typically intrigued by their personal style/street style choices. Don’t get me wrong, I love red carpet looks, but there is something so telling about someone’s everyday fashion choices. I also love taking inspiration from my favorite celebs, and as a normal girlie, everyday style is my jam. Let’s look at Zendaya’s street style!

STYLE ELEMENT #1: Classic & Elevated Basics
Zendaya’s street style is more tame compared to her red carpet looks, however, she is still very stylish and certainly knows how to dress. The most important thing to know about Zendaya’s outfits is that she dresses classic with elevated basics. What does this mean? She sticks to less trendy pieces that will be “in style” forever (also known as good wardrobe essentials). Some of these include…

Straight-leg jeans
Tees
Basic Knits
Loafers
Ballet Flats
Basic sneakers
All these items look clean, classic, chic, and perfect for everyday wear. As I’ve gotten older, I've learned that having these classic pieces in my wardrobe makes my life easier. I can wear all of these casually, professionally, and slightly dressy.
TRY IT YOURSELF: Wear an outfit full of any of the classic pieces listed above!
STYLE ELEMENT #2: Neutrals!!
If you look at any street-style pictures of Zendaya, there is a really good chance that she is wearing only neutrals. She primarily wears neutral colors, which works well with her classic aesthetic and is great for mixing and matching in her wardrobe. She wears all neutrals: black, brown, white, grey, cream, and beige.
When someone wants to fill their closet with only neutrals, there are 2 things I recommend doing:
Buy a variety of neutral colors - easy to mix and match
Buy items with texture - ensures your outfits don’t look too flat
Zendaya does both of these, which I think is one of the reasons that her style is so great!

STYLE ELEMENT #3: Dainty Jewelry
In addition to her classic, elevated, and neutral style, Zendaya is known for wearing dainty and minimal jewelry in her everyday life. I know chunky and bold jewelry is trending right now, but again, Zendaya loves classic and there is nothing more classic than dainty jewelry.
Her typical jewelry includes:
A simple pendant necklace
A couple of simple rings
Small hoop earrings or studs
A few simple bracelets or a watch
Her dainty jewelry adds a subtle amount of glam to her everyday outfits!
TRY IT YOURSELF: Figure out your everyday/simple jewelry and wear it daily! It will elevate your style. Personally, I love a simple necklace, cute earrings, a few rings, and a dainty bracelet.
STYLE ELEMENT #4: Luxury Touches
It’s no secret that Zendaya wears luxury fashion brands while on the red carpet, however, she also dons a few luxury pieces in her personal life. As an ambassador for Louis Vuitton, Zendaya is often seen carrying around a bag with the signature LV Monogram print. I have also seen her wearing Maison Margiela ‘Tabis’, ballet flats with an interesting toe space. Anyone who knows fashion knows these shoes, which proves that Zendaya is a true fashion girl on and off the red carpet. The luxury touches are a nice finish to her outfits.
